Who can apply?

Alumni and their spouses under age 65 are each eligible to apply for this Group Term Life Insurance Plan.
Are any discounts available?

If you haven't used tobacco products in the last 12 months, you can take advantage of Non-Tobacco User rate discounts.
How long can I keep this insurance?

You may continue your coverage up to age 75. As long as you continue to pay your premiums when due and the group policy remains in force, you will have the option to renew. Benefits will reduce to the lesser of 50% or $50,000 when you reach age 70. You may also convert to an individual whole life policy, without providing evidence of insurability prior to your 75th birthday. See plan information for details.

Life insurance coverage is provided under the terms of a group life insurance policy, Group Policy #66816-8, issued and delivered in the state of Rhode Island to the Alumni Group Insurance Trust as the policyholder. The group life insurance policy is issued by ReliaStar Life Insurance Company, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The policy is administered on behalf of ReliaStar Life Insurance Company by AMBA Administrators, Inc., an insurance administrator licensed in the state of Rhode Island. Policy form LP08GP. Coverage is not available in all states. This is a paid endorsement. Alumni Group Insurance Trust receives a fee from the insurance broker and/or the insurer for its endorsement of this plan.
